Terms of Business

Check in Time

Check in time is from 16:00 – 18:00 

****Please note we do not have 24 hour reception.  We are small team of 2 people running the B&B 7 days a week. Between 11 :00 and 16:00,  we are often outdoors or working other jobs and unable to assist with luggage storage. You are welcome to use our parking lot before check-in and store your luggage in your car. If you need to check in outside of our in person check in time please make arrangements in advanced by emailing us at beaujolaisbnb@gmail.com. Such requests are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Check Out Time

10:00am

You may use our free parking a few hours after check out. We do not offer luggage storage on check out. Please plan accordingly. 

Parking

There is 1 free parking spot per room in our private parking lot. Due to our licensing requirements with the Town of Banff,  guests must park their vehicle in our private parking.,

Breakfast

Breakfast is available between 7.30 am and 9.00 am. Please let us know in advance of any dietary restrictions and or allergies. Kindly, inform us if you require breakfast to go due to departures/tours  booked prior to 7:30am.

General

Beaujolais Boutique B&B at Thea’s House is fitted with a fire alarm system; please vacate the premises if you hear the alarm sound and move to a safe distance from the House

Pets are not permitted on our property

Beaujolais Boutique B&B at Thea’s House is a completely smoke free property. No smoking or vaping on site including the front patio and balconies. Violation of this policy will incur a minimum $250.00 deep cleaning fee.

All rooms can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults. This is strictly enforced due to our licensing requirements. We do not accept children under the age of 12.

Guests do not have access to kitchen or laundry facilities.

We accept Interact, credit cards (Visa or MasterCard), or cash. We do not accept AMEX

 All rates are net non-commissionable.

Rates are valid only for dates quoted and subject to change prior to receiving the confirmation deposit.

Bookings are not completed until a valid credit card is received. No verbal holds. 

Special room requests are noted but not guaranteed.

Private parking on our property is at the guest’s liability and we do not accept any liability for goods lost or stolen from vehicles or damage to the vehicles.

Guests are responsible for any damages incurred to Beaujolais Boutique B&B at Thea’s House during their stay.

In the event of non-compliance of the terms of business or abusive behaviour by guests, the owners reserves the right to ask guests to vacate the premises. No refund will be given in these circumstances

 

PAYMENTS and CANCELLATION POLICY

By completing an online booking or providing your verbal or written authorization for the use of your credit card, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of business, payment and cancellation policies of Beaujolais Boutique B&B at Thea’s House.

Cancellation or payment policies may very depending on booking dates. Particularly around holidays. Please review your cancellation policy on your booking confirmation.

Payment Policy for regular bookings :

A charge of 100% of the first night inclusive of GST will be  processed 30 days prior to your arrival. The remaining balance is due 5 days before your arrival. Beaujolais Boutique B&B at Thea’s House reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to the deposit due date. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation requests received more than 30 days before the intended arrival date

  • Subject to a $60 processing fee.

Cancellation requests made within the 30 days but more then 7 days before arrival:

  • The  first night deposit is non-refundable. 

Cancellations requests made within 7 Days before arrival

  • The total balance of your booking is non-refundable.

Please note that bookings are not contingent on weather conditions including smoke from wildfires. Refunds will not be issued due to unfavourable weather or smoke in the area. We are a small property and although we would love to issue refunds to everyone this is our livelihood. Cancellations have a significant impact on our business. Thus, our cancellation policy is strictly enforced and we strongly recommend booking travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

Changes to reservation dates can be made up to 30 days before the arrival date, subject to availability. The total of the reservation may increase depending on the new dates selected. No changes are permitted within the 30 days leading up to the arrival date.

Changing your booking to an earlier departure date then your original booking is treated the same as a cancellation. If changes are made within 7 days of arrival you will still be charged the total of your original booking.
