Terms of Business

Check in and Check Out

Check in time is from 16:00 – 18:00 Hours. Please let us know in advance if you need to check in at another time. Early check ins are subject to availability and not guaranteed. We are just 2 people running the B&B 7 days a week. Between 11 am and 4 pm we love to be outdoors ourselves and will not be at the B&B during that time to accept luggage. You are welcome to use our parking lot prior to check in and store your luggage in your car.

Check out is 10:30am

Breakfast

Breakfast is available between 7.30 am and 9.00 am. Please let us know inadvanced of any dietary restrictions and or allergies. Also kindly inform us if you have tours booked prior to 7:30am and require a breakfast to go.

General

Thea’s House is fitted with a fire alarm system; please vacate the premises if you hear the alarm sound and move to a safe distance from the House

Pets are not allowed in our property

Thea’s House is a completely smoke free property. No smoking or vaping on site including the front patio and balconies. Violation of this policy will incur a minimum $250.00 deep cleaning fee.

All rooms can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults. This is strictly enforced due to our licensing requirements. We do not accept children under the age of 12.

Thea’s House accepts Interact, credit cards (Visa or MasterCard), or cash, please settle your bill before leaving. 

 All rates are net non-commissionable.

Rates are valid only for dates quoted and subject to change prior to receiving the confirmation deposit.

Room booking does not occur until a valid credit card is received. No verbal holds. 

Special room requests are noted but not guaranteed.

Private parking on our property is at the guest’s liability and we do not accept any liability for goods lost or stolen from vehicles or damage to the vehicles.

Guests are responsible for any damages incurred to Thea’s House during their stay.

We will try to honour all original booking conditions when a stay is changed, however we can’t guarantee price or configuration of rooms.

In the event of non-compliance of the terms of business or abusive behaviour by guests, the owner reserves the right to ask guests to vacate the premises. No refund will be given in these circumstances

 

PAYMENTS and CANCELLATION POLICY

Your verbal or written authorization of the use of your credit card indicates your understanding and compliance with Thea’s House terms of business, payment and cancellation policy.

Payment Policy for regular bookings 100% of the first night will be charged 30 days prior to arrival. The remainder cost of stay is due 5 days before arrival. Thea’s house reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival

Cancellation policies may very depending on season of booking. Particularly around holidays. Please review your cancellation policy on booking confirmation.

Cancellation and Refund Policy If the reservation is cancelled prior to 30 days of the intended arrival date, a $60 processing fee will be charged. Inside of the 30 days the 1 night deposit become non-refundable. 5 Days before arrival the total balance of your booking is charged this is non-refundable. Bookings are not weather or air quality specific and refunds are not available if the weather or air quality is not as predicted or hoped for. We are a small property and although we would love to issue refunds to everyone this is our livelihood. Cancellations have a significant impact on our business. Thus, our cancellation policy is strictly enforced and we strongly recommend booking travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

Changes to reservation dates may be made up to 30 days before the arrival date, the total of the reservation may increase dependent on the new dates selected. No date changes are permitted within the 30day period before the arrival date. Date changes must complete their stay with us prior to the 31st of October within the same year of the original arrival date.

Changing your booking to an earlier departure date then your original booking is treated the same as a cancellation.  If changes are made within 7 days of arrival you will still be charged the total of your original booking
