Thea’s House is a warm blend of pine vaulted ceilings, fir flooring and antique furniture. Designed with comfort and privacy in mind for the lucky visitor who stays at Thea’s House – your room will be striking and spacious featuring a king size bed, gas fireplace, entertainment unit, complimentary WiFi, en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi (and a shower), and a small balcony with mountain views. We are also pleased to offer our guests a completely smoke free property.
Although more than spacious, each of our guest rooms accommodates a maximum of two adults. All our guest rooms are located on the second floor, providing all guests with privacy and exceptional views. The perfect place for the perfect getaway. It is little wonder that it has become a favourite among honeymoon couples.
Curled up beneath a goose down duvet, the fireplace flames gently dancing, you may find it difficult to leave your room. However, you must. Just outside your windows are the glorious Canadian Rockies waiting to be explored, and after your finished exploring you can relax in our guest lounge where the 25ft floor to ceiling windows will provide you with amazing views of Mount Norquay. Guests are free to help themselves to the complimentary coffee and tea services that is available at all times. We love the area that we are so lucky to live in, and welcome you into our home.
You are probably wondering what the name “Thea” stands for and what is so special about this B&B? The name “Thea” means aunt in Greek. The B&B was named after Greg’s grant-aunt, Georgia, who originally owned the house. Her last wish was to have the house kept within the Christou family. Aunt Georgia was a very gregarious person, and although she never operated a B&B, her home was always open to anyone who wished to drop in and savour her great cooking and warm hospitality.
